Before leaders can build great teams and strong cultures, they first need to take care of themselves. Building resilience takes time - focusing on self, forming new habits, shifting mindset and modeling behaviours others can follow. Once we have built a strong foundation for ourselves, we can support it in those around us and design a path for stronger teams and healthier organizations. In this course you will identify the areas preventing you from achieving a healthy work-life balance, design a plan to create that balance, build a healthier mind and body, and have tools to help those around you. Health care organizations need to create cultures that focus on well-being, with leaders with knowledge, tools and resources to build up their teams, and who are healthy and strong themselves.

Upon completion you will be awarded a NIHI - McMaster CE microcredential in Leadership in Health Care: Resilient Leadership. A microcredential is issued in a digital format, provides details of acquired competencies and is shareable and transportable.
