Norm Archer is a professor emeritus in the DeGroote School of Business at McMaster University, Canada, and is special advisor to the McMaster eBusiness Research Centre (MeRC).  He teaches in the MSc eHealth graduate program and supervises a number of Master’s and PhD students.  His main research interests are in the adoption and use of electronic health records and personal health records, and their use in chronic disease self-management and preventive health self-management by patients and consumers.
