This series will provide healthcare leaders with the essential knowledge and tools they need to more fully leverage the power of data within their organizations. The session will cover how combining data with proven Quality Improvement (QI) methodologies, well-defined quality and performance goals, and powerful analytical methods can result in more insightful, fact-based decisions within a healthcare organization.
What Will be Covered
- Session 1 will cover: The healthcare analytics cycle of innovation; how to drive transformation with analytics; maximizing value, capability, and return on analytics investment; and analytics use cases in healthcare.
- Session 2 will identify the key inputs of an effective analytics system, including the necessary drivers within the organization, dialog with key stakeholders, and data sources (the “raw material” of insight) that must be in place so that analytics can be applied to high-value questions or problem areas facing the organization.
- Session 3 will discuss how enabling factors such as your organization’s analytics team, the analytical tools and techniques in use, and the overall technology “backbone” determines an organization’s capability to deliver timely and meaning insight to stakeholders.
