Hélène’s many years of experience working in the healthcare sector includes experience in four different provinces, providing her with knowledge of jurisdictional differences. Her pan-Canadian perspective has provided her insight into the culture of our provinces and how they approach technology and informatics to meet their unique needs, opportunities and challenges.

Throughout her professional work experiences in health care facilities, private sector and government, she has developed and fostered initiatives advocating the use of technology to enhance and transform health care delivery. These included: process redesign and transformation, implementation of different clinical systems, tools/toolkits for clinical systems implementation, organisational transformation, change management, workflow/process integration, utilization management, benefits realization.

Hélène has authored/co-authored manuscripts and written submissions for a variety of publications in addition to presentations at conferences. She believes in giving back to the community by volunteering her time to organizations such as COACH, HIMSS Ontario, CCHL and NIHI.
