Raelynn Douglas BA, MBA, CHE CEO, Raesoleil Consulting Raelynn Douglas is the CEO of Raesoleil Consulting and a healthcare leader focused on strengthening workforce retention, resilience, and leadership effectiveness across health systems. Her work helps leaders address burnout, disengagement, and turnover by translating workforce data, wellbeing research, and operational realities into practical, scalable strategies that deliver measurable return on investment. Raelynn’s career began in the Saskatchewan Ministry of Finance, where she worked in budget analysis, strategic planning, performance management, and program evaluation. This early experience shaped her systems-level perspective and deep commitment to evidence-based decision-making, fiscal stewardship, and measurable outcomes. Raelynn held senior leadership roles in several Ontario healthcare organizations, where she developed expertise in service provider relations, innovation, digital health, and organizational performance. Across these roles, her growing concern about the health human resource crisis became a defining professional focus. She most recently served as Executive Director of the Drug Plan, Saskatchewan Ministry of Health, leading a large multidisciplinary team of professionals and overseeing a portfolio exceeding $500 million. In this role, Raelynn was responsible for policy development, program design and operations, and system-level decision-making within a complex public healthcare environment. Raelynn holds a BA in Economics from the University of Saskatchewan and a Global MBA in Health and Life Sciences from the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto, where she concentrated on healthcare workforce challenges. She is a Certified Health Executive (CHE) and a member of the Canadian College of Health Leaders. Raelynn is currently writing The Billion Dollar Blind Spot, a forthcoming book examining the hidden cost of turnover in Canadian healthcare. |
