University of Waterloo’s Health Informatics Club (UWHIC) is Canada’s first Health Informatics club, launched at the University of Waterloo (UW). With more than 260 members, the purpose of the club is to bring together students at UW interested in Health Informatics (HI) at any level - general interest, actual study, and/or participation in research projects. UWHIC's goal is to enhance both the educational and social experience in the area of HI for all UW students interested in this discipline.
