This two-day intensive workshop provides a deeper look at healthcare privacy and security requirements from both the vendor and healthcare organization perspectives. It looks at the skills and tools needed to develop and deploy private and secure eHealth solutions in health care.
The workshop features lectures from noted privacy and security experts and hands-on workshop activities that provide a foundation for knowledge, skills and tools needed to protect health information.
Companies that provide privacy and security functionality and services as part of their product and service offerings will gain a significant competitive advantage. Privacy and security is fast becoming a condition of doing business in health care. Help your clients to meet their obligations under privacy legislation by applying best practices to information privacy and security management.
Healthcare organizations need to understand healthcare privacy and security requirements, what is needed, what are reasonable costs, how to assess consultancy offers and what to expect regarding deliverables and costs. Help your organization know what it needs to do, who is responsible for what and how to work with the vendor.
