A highly experienced senior leader in workforce development, Alan has been coaching and developing organizational leaders since his career began in 1992. In 2016 Alan was the winner of an AHS Spirit Award for Teamwork; was recognized by the Alberta Premier’s Office in appreciation and recognition of outstanding support for Albertans following the Wood Buffalo Wildfire; and received a Recognition of Excellence Award from Shell Enterprise Learning & Hemsley Fraser as the top performing facilitator in the Americas during Q4.
Alan has worked across multiple industries in both Europe and North America offering both breadth and depth in assisting clients to develop sustainable leadership capability and capacity. His coaching approach and philosophy is applied and practical, driving the manifestation of learning through definable and measurable action enabling tangible evaluation of progress for clients.
Alan is a business graduate from both Kingston and Brunel Universities. Familiar with many different personal development tools, he maintains current certification in Insights Discovery personality-profiling, Insights Navigator (in-process), Blanchard’s Situational Leadership II, Emotional Quotient Inventory EQi 2.0 and EQi 360 tools, LEADS 360 Model used across Canadian Healthcare, and is Prosci Change Methodology certified. He currently serves as a senior advisor to Alberta Health Services in the areas of leadership development, change management and team effectiveness As an Executive Coach and Workforce Development Consultant externally to other organizations and individuals and is a member of Hemsley Fraser Global Faculty.
