The increasing pace of change within the healthcare system, introduction of new technologies, and new funding models represent challenges for all working within health care. Health information management professionals are dealing with changes in their work environment at the professional level in how work is done which in many cases also brings about transformation needed at a personal level in adapting to change and their new roles and functions.

In this session, Dr. Gibson will present examples from both changes at a professional level and a personal level that will help HIM professionals move forward and become more resilient and adaptable in life and work.
