Candidate Pre-requisites for Program

You must have successfully completed a four year bachelor’s degree with at least a B+ grade point average (or the equivalent) in the final year.
If you are in the final stages of a bachelor’s degree you can still be considered. If your application is accepted you’ll be admitted on the condition that you complete your degree (meeting the minimum grade point) before registering in the eHealth program.
If you don’t have a computer science background, you must complete 1 course in programming (any language such as C++, Java, Python, etc) by August.

Program Courses

Full-Time (Thesis) Requirements:
- 5 one-term courses
- Development and oral defence of a written thesis
- Eight-month internship

You must successfully complete 5, one-term graduate courses (4 compulsory and 1 elective).

The required courses are:

Statistics for eHealth
Fundamentals of eHealth and the Canadian Healthcare System
Management Issues in eHealth
Modern Software Technology for eHealth

You can choose your fifth course from a list of approved electives.

Full-Time (Course-Based) Program Requirement
- 8 one-term courses
- Development and presentation of a scholarly paper
- Eight-month internship

You must successfully complete 8, one-term graduate courses (four compulsory core courses and four electives).
