After completing the course, you will be awarded a NIHI - McMaster CE microcredential in ePrivacy Fundamentals. A micro-credential is issued in a digital format, provides details of acquired competencies, and is shareable and transportable.

Introduction to Privacy:  Provides an introduction to privacy in health care and the foundation for a deep and comprehensive understanding. It addresses privacy principles, individual rights, plus responsibilities of health care providers and organizations. The course will cover both Canadian and International privacy laws and information governance.

Building a Privacy Program: Take the foundational principles and apply to existing or new privacy programs, including those that incorporate AI technologies.

Registrants will receive detailed instructions about accessing the online session(s) via e-mail 1-2 days prior to each session. Anyone registering within 2 days of the session will receive the message shortly after the registration is received.
